Literary gift idea?

D’s boyfriend’s birthday is this summer and since he is a literature buff, I was thinking about an edition of something. He likes Fitzgerald, Hemingway, et al, but I was also thinking about something like Emile Zola in French (which he is also fluent). Any thoughts?

Do you have any bookstores that sell signed/limited/1st editions of books. You might want to visit and see what they have on hand.

I ordered one book for myself for Christmas. I liked the copy so much that I decided on a membership (and again could not be happier). I now own eight of the Folio Society books and have a wish list.

There’s a sale going on now:

Might be time for me to order again. ;)

There’s always a subscription to literary magazines - Paris Review or New York Review of Books (not to be confused with New York Times Book Review.)
