Literature

I got a Kaplan book for Literature, and took 3 practice tests.

First of all, is Kaplan a good book to study off of?

And secondly, the three scores that I got were (in order of date taken) 740, 770, and 680. Since the last score is in a completely different range from the other two scores, I have no idea what ‘level’ I am. Do you think the first two were just flukes to raise my self esteem up or does it depend on the test?

I thought the tests should generally be around the same level of difficulty :|.

It really could just depend on the material. I did online practice questions and Princeton review practice and got about 90% of them right. Then on test day I got a 590…:(

I’m sorry to hear that :frowning: Were the test questions online and on the Princeton book anything similar to the actual test?

In my opinion they were much simpler and more obvious. Maybe I just panicked on test day and the fact that I didn’t get a used to the time constraint hurt me. So I bet actual 60 minute tests would help. :)
