"Little Three" Gaining Recognition as "Best Sports Tradition"

With all due respect to the “Little Three,” the Haverford vs. Swarthmore rivalry goes back to at least 1894. The football rivalry ended in 1971 when Haverford ended their football program, but the two schools still compete for the Hood Trophy which is awarded to the school that has the most wins versus the other in all sports. Perhaps we can call this rivalry, “The Tiny Two.”
