Live in CA - transfering for JR and SR year

<p>S has been attending a small Jesuit Univ in CA for Fr and Soph years - 4.0 GPA. (few top employers recruit from this school - and school’s own statistics show ‘not so wonderful’ employment and ‘low’ salaries - for CA- after grad)</p>

<p>Now ready to transfer to large school with top notch econ and finance depts. (He reads books on these subject for fun - go figure?!) Also seeking a school which has a better reputation for attracting top level employers. </p>

<p>As a CA resident, he has the grades (from HS and Univ) to get into several UCs and he has already been accepted into UNC Chapel Hill - a marvelous school. (however one which is once again raising tuition for OOS - ouch!)</p>

<p>any thoughts? Thank you</p>

<p>if he digs cal, apply, get in, and have fun. I wouldn’t switch schools just cause you’d make more money after graduation, anyone who’s got talent can find a good job; if he’s not comfortable though, go for it, do what u dig.</p>
