Living At Home?

I don't need to pay room and board if I live at home right cause College Board say I need to pay some kind of expense even though I live at home. I'm not quite getting the picture.

Such as syrcause

;/a>

It is for financial aid purposes. Schools give a COA (Cost Of Attendance) which is an averaged annual student cost for attending the school. Financial aid is based on the schools COA less your EFC (Estimated Family Contribution). The difference between the 2 is your 'need' on which financial aid is based.

So for Syracuse the COA for a student living at home would be $6376 less than the COA of a student living on campus and the financial aid would be based on that reduced figure.
