<p>I can’t answer your specific question, but I’m guessing not. A one-bedroom apartment is probably going to be relatively expensive for a student. Students who want to save money on housing compared to the dorms would typically share a 4BR or so apartment. </p>
<p>Whether you save money on food for the other 11 meals/week depends on whether you do any cooking from scratch, or just buy take-out or frozen meals.</p>
