living in another country

If you have lived in another country extensively, how much will that help for Yale SCEA? Another question: If you stand out from the rest of the pool, even though your stats are about average or slightly below, will they take you because you were unique?

no, Yale HATES unique people… ahahahaahahha
OF COURSE THEY’LL TAKE YOU!
the problem is: just because YOU, “modestly”, think you’re unique, it doesn’t mean THEY will think you are…

residence is just a point of curiosity unless it contributes significantly to you as a great student. That being said, average or slightly below avg stats will be weighed much more than your “uniqueness” which really, doesn’t have anything to do with you – it’s just where your parents were living at the time.

Knowing the competitiveness of SCEA, I wouldn’t be buying helium balloons for December 15.
