Living in Washington DC

Help!!! Any suggestions or comments on finding a place to live. My S is graduating from college and is staying in Washington DC. He is looking for a place to live.

just a suggestion - might want to post this question on the boards of the DC schools in case anyone has any leads

My daughter moved to DC right after college to work. She shared an apt with a college classmate in Dupont Circle which is a safe area with plenty of shops, restaurants and night life. She did not own a car as her apt was walking distance to a metro station. Rent is fairly high in more desirable areas. A lot of young professionals share a house to cut costs. There are lots of ads in craigslist which I’m sure he can find something to his liking.
