Living room in West Sutherland 6-man suite?

According to the floor plan provided by Panther Central, it appears that the “D” suite in West Sutherland, the type in which I will be residing, has its own living room. However, I also heard from others that this living room is actually communal. A communal living room would make sense, considering that no other suite has its own living room, but the living room is sandwiched between two individual bedrooms in the suite, leading me to believe that it is not communal. For anyone who has lived in or is familiar with West Sutherland, is this living room exclusive to the “D” suite, or does it supplement the communal TV lounge on the other side of the hall?

It looks to me as though there is a door to the hallway back to the two-bedroom D suite. That door probably locks, but the door from the main hallway into the hall that leads to that common room is not locked. My daughter lived on the other end in a four-bedroom suite. The TV room was just outside her main door to the suite.

When there are nearly 50 kids per floor, it would make no sense for suite D to have its own living room and the other 20 plus rooms of kids sharing the other TV room. It just looks that way on the map.

I confirmed with my Son who lived there last year-- there are two communal lounges on each floor one large and one smaller one-- TV Lounge and Living room on the maps. They were open to anyone on the floor, not assigned to a particular suite.

I lived in Sutherland West last year. The living room on the floor plan is actually a bedroom and room 21 on the plan is actually the smaller lounge. There’s a door from the bedroom to the lounge, but it’s locked.
