Does it seem like a lot of people go to downtown or Santa Monica? Is there usually a lot of things to do on campus? Do people leave their dorm doors open when they’re there?
I can’t speak to the open doors in the dorms, but when we went on the campus tour, our guide spoke about how easy LMU makes it for students do things off campus. They have transportation available, uber discounts for students, etc. it also seemed as if there were plenty of on campus activities, too. Sorry I don’t have more specific answers to your questions, but overall it seemed ideal at LMU. Students were all very nice, too.
Marina Del Rey and Silicon Beach/Venice are just to the north. The South Bay has the beaches of Manhattan and Hermosa to enjoy. These locations are closer than Santa Monica and downtown LA.
