Does anyone know when deferred students hear back?
@8461student I was deferred too, and I read from last year’s thread that they started hearing back around the 3rd weekend of February at the end of the week. I have no clue how they’re doing it this year though, but that might be helpful.

Congratulations @cadman6! I don’t see anything from LMU coming in our USPS informed delivery today (and our mail doesn’t come til really late, like 6 pm or later some days!) Can you say where you live geographically - is it So Cal? And what’s your major?

@CAtransplant when ours came, it was an 8x11 size envelope and didn’t show up in informed delivery to my recollection. So, fingers crossed!
I live in El Paso, Texas and am majoring in Finance. I’m in the 3 day zone so it’s strange I’m one of the first to report getting something. Informed delivery showed 3 mail pieces with no picture so maybe it was one of them.
I just got mine 22k Arrupe plus 2k early action. From Massachusetts.

Thanks @bewellsw - good to know! And it sounds like @cadman6 you didn’t see an image of this piece of mail either. Strange @KBTDPT - We’re in Nor Cal too, but our mail is impossible and won’t come for at least a few more hours! Must be they are mailing them in waves as why would Texas and MA get them before Nor Cal if all mailed on the same day? I will report later whether we get anything today.

And for those who were deferred I think (not 100% sure) LMU accepts on a rolling basis. Once a spot opens they re review apps to fill the spot.

Nothing today in the greater Seattle area
I have twins, both accepted, only one of their packages came in the mail today. The one that arrived, did not show up on informed delivery. We’re in Seattle.
Merit for the one we received, was dismal $7500 incl. an LMU achievement award and the $2K EA award. No FA except for loans. Our out of pocket would be nearly $65k before the $5500 student loan, for the one twin. That’s more than double our EFC.
I expect her sister’s package to be the same, if not worse, as her stats are somewhat lower. $130K+ a year!!! Not going to happen. I thought Fordham was bad…

Ok our mail arrived and nothing from LMU here in Nor Cal. Yes you’d think CA would get them sooner than TX and MA - and really strange for one to arrive in Seattle but not the other to the same home, and sorry about the disappointing merit
