<p>Hey just wondering, but did you transfers happen to get a little postcard thing in the mail that said your file is complete or that they are reviewing your app? I think regular decisions got it, but idk about transfers. Not sure if others transfers got it though because i didn’t get anything…</p>

No I didn’t get a postcard, just “currently uder review” on MyPAW.</p>
<p>Hi I’m a transfer student I read some threads saying that admissions isn’t back till the 5th so does that mean that is when they’ll actually send decisions or is that when they’ll start looking at them?</p>

That’s when they begin the transfer process, but I’m not sure if they will send out decisions starting Monday but it could possibly happen since it’s rolling admissions</p>

<p>hey guys I am a film transfer coming from Chapman University I am applying as a junior with a 3.589 gpa … have you guys heard anything yet? I have sent my transcripts twice and MYPAW still says its not there… but I called and they said it should be there with all the other mail… should I be concerned?</p>
<p>Chapman- No I havent heard back yet and I had all of my material in on the 15th of march. Transfers should hear hopefully by the end of the week or maybe even next week i think.</p>

<p>Hey everyone, I’ve been lurking this forum like a maniac for answers - it began driving me insane, so I gave in and called admissions. I applied for the film school as a transfer (Screenwriting) with a 3.438 and an amazing rec from a working Screenwriter (don’t know if I have a shot, but I applied anyway) and LMU is my #1 choice. I had all of my stuff in by 2/2, so you can imagine how long my wait has been. Luckily I didn’t rush and send my stuff in December - read below!</p>

<p>We’ll be tantalized a little bit more. I just called the Office of Admissions, and they said that they JUST began looking at transfer apps because they were trying to finalize the freshman class! The guy I spoke to said the earliest we would hear is LATE April!</p>
<p>ughhh that is so frustrating when i had called about 3 weeks ago they said we’d hear probably around 2nd week in April now its the end of April i feel like it just keeps getting pushed back further and further

<p>I wouldn’t expect it anytime soon guys. The earliest last year transfers heard back was mid-may to early June. Sooooo…with that in mind, try not to think about it too much because it’ll just make the wait feel longer.</p>
<p>So I just logged onto MYPAW and it changed from “currently under review” to “application incomplete - see requirements.” And under requirements, they added “Fall/spring grades” which i have yet to complete. so they expect me to send them my spring grades? My semester ends may 14th and grades don’t come out til a week after that. So i probably won’t get my decision until like June…GAHHHH</p>

<p>I’m a comm studies major and my fall gpa was 3.86. I think they wanna know my spring grades because my HS grades were pretty bad…so they’re hoping my spring gpa is consistent with my fall. </p>
<p>Man and i was slacking this semester! I got average B’s on most midterms so i better get A’s on my finals…sigh…this semester grades will probably make or break me for LMU. :/</p>

I applied for both LMU&Chapman as transfer. Could you please tell my why you chose to transfer from Chapman? I’m just curious because Chapman is hard to transfer into. And I like Chapman too…</p>

<p>i called the admissions office yesterday, and the guy asked for my first and last name, then told me that I would be notified in 4 weeks. i don’t know if that is specific for all transfer applicants, being that he asked for my name. so yeaaaah may 13 it is for me. Call nicely and see what they say if you’re impatiently waiting :)</p>
<p>I dont think your name matters. I called today and the person I spoke with said that transfer applicants are hearing back every day since the deadline for the applications. She didnt really sound like she knew what she was talking about since ive heard from many others that they didnt even start looking at applications till April and the deadline was in March. At the end of the conversation she asked for my name so im guessing its just something they are told to ask when someone calls…</p>
