<p>This is a for sure acceptance right? I just don’t want to get too excited about it and then find out later it was like a mypaw glitch or something since my status still says “currently under review.” …</p>
<p>Im not positive but i’m pretty sure that you should definitly be in if you got the “your’e in” page but you should call tomorrow and ask them about why your other page says currently under review just to make sure.</p>

<p>xxpendable - yes I got accepted. And i completed only 15 units (fall semester) at the time of application. I’m taking 16 units this semester. They don’t know my spring grades and never asked for it…I’ll be a sophomore in the fall of 2010</p>
<p>@korhawaus - im in the same situation as you. only completed 18 units with a 3.72 gpa. i was worried cause i had real ****ty high school grades but this gives me some hope haha.</p>
<p>haha you definitely have a great chance then because i had really bad HS grades too lol. So the only good gpa was my first semester in college which was 3.86. And i got accepted so hopefully you will too!</p>

Congratulations on your acceptance! I was also accepted as a transfer for the Fall. I heard from LMU on 4/23. Do you know if they are still expecting a commitment deposit by May 1st? What if I don’t hear back from then about Fin Aid before then? Have you heard back yet regarding Fin Aid and/or housing?</p>
<p>elcineman - Thanks! Congrats to you too! How sure are you about LMU? I’m still waiting on Chapman, but whoever gives me more money i will probably end up at. Hopefully I’ll see ya there if we both end up at LMU haha. </p>
<p>But i heard through mylmu on 4/15 and still haven’t received any letter yet…so im on the same boat as you if i don’t get any letter by may 1st, i’m planning to just pay my commitment deposit just in case i lose my spot…because if i get rejected from chapman…then i have no school to go to lol. btw what state are you from?</p>

I’m from New Orleans, LA. I’m a film major and I toured the Film Dept last summer while on vacation on the West Coast. I’m like you, need to know amt of fin aid before I can commit. The commitment deposits are non-refundable right?</p>
<p>Ah, i see. Film? wow. that’s really an honor to get into LMU film. I’m a comm major haha. and yeah, deposit is non-refundable. But my mom said shes okay with losing 250 bucks if i end up at Chapman or if i dont get enough fin aid. better to secure my spot then to lose it…</p>
<p>btw, how was the campus when you toured it? I’ve never been to lmu before…</p>
<p>The campus is beautiful. I did not get to tour the entire campus only Film dept and rode around. Also visited bookstore for T shirts. Time was a factor. What about housing deposit?Is that due on 5/1 also to lock in dorm space and is that deposit refundable?</p>
<p>I really don’t know. I’m just as clueless as you about the deadlines for transfers. I’m gonna give them a call if i dont receive a packet by 5/1.</p>
