<p>admissions should’ve sent you an email regarding your app around two weeks after it was sent in (well, for me). if you don’t have any record of it, then you should send admissions an email or call !</p>
<p>I’m a transfer applicant and I’m still waiting for a response. Does anyone know when they’ll mail out the letters? My status on mypaw says under review for some days now.</p>

<p>I spoke with someone in Admissions yesterday (4/27) and she said acceptance letters with forms that need to be signed (regarding commitment deposit???) and returned went out yesterday. I haven’t received mine, but I am out of state.</p>

<p>latina - when you log into mylmu, the first page should have a congrats message if you got in. so look out for that! i wouldn’t mind the “currently under review” because people who have already received their acceptance packet in the mail are saying that it still says “under review” for them too. </p>
<p>elcineman - so if they were mailed only yesterday, we won’t make the 5/1 deadline. so i’m guessing deadline is 6/1 for us…i wonder whats the deal with housing for us…i really need housing or i can’t go to lmu!</p>
<p>oh and elcineman, when you said the forms went out yesterday…do you mean 4/27 or yesterday on the day you called, which would be 4/26? It shouldn’t take more than about 5 days to reach Hawaii right? lol</p>

I spoke to Admissions on Tuesday 4/27. The lady said transfers do have a little longer to reply but do so asap after receiving your packet requiring signed forms.
As far as housing, there will be a contract we will have to return. I need to stay in dorm too. What about fin’l aid, when do we hear about that?</p>

The lady also said 5/1 is for Freshmen. Don’t know if you’re coming in as Freshman or Sophomore. Her name is Alice, may want to call her in Admissions just to make sure.</p>
<p>Oh i see. i just received my acceptance packet in the mail! unfortunately, it has no info on FAFSA, but my commitment deposit is due on May 10th. there’s so much info on the packet (6pages) that includes orientation, housing, and all that stuff! i’m pretty confused right now haha. i’m not sure what to do since i’m still waiting on chapman and they won’t give me a decision til mid-may. sigh…guess i’ll have to just pay LMU’s commitment for now…</p>
<p>mypaw now says that my fall/spring grades are required… does that mean i have to wait until i’m finished with this semester for an answer ?</p>
<p>lmuprospect - that actually happened to me too and it went away in like 2 days. then i got the accepted page right after that. so hopefully its a good sign for you! if you already sent your fall transcript, then i’d say to just wait. if its still there after your semester is over, then either call or send them your spring transcript.</p>

<p>LMU made a big mistake, but a good one, LOL. They sent me info through my email that MYAid was updated; I logged in, and it said that I got financial aid awards! I logged in, and it was there – that hopefully means I got in (I didn’t get a package in the mail yet) so check your MyAid (or PROWL) everyone! :)</p>

I applied in Spring '10 for Fall '10 transfer from out of state. Accepted late April '10 for Film Production.
GPA 3.8, SAT 1620.</p>

<p>^ I got accepted for Screenwriting (Junior 61 credits), 3.44, major rec from industry Screenwriter & a few standout EC’s. I applied on Feb. 2, got my acceptance May 8. Good luck Nick!</p>
