In the packet I received it said once you mail in your $250 commitment deposit, reviewed your transfer corurse evaluation, & reviewed registration info from Registrar’s office, you may then schedule your advisement appt.
I am waiting to check my transfer eval on PROWL first before I send in the $450 for housing deposit which is due on 5/28/10.

Ya i just checked my transfer evaluation and actually scheduled my apt for Monday. Im leaving the country next thursday for a month so I wanted to get my stuff done before I left! The woman I spoke with said after Monday I should be all set to register for classes=)</p>

I’m a Film major. Have they already evaluated your Spring '10 transcript??? I had those sent by my present univ by email last wk.
I was accepted on 4/23 and they had only the Fall '09 grades.</p>

<p>Lol! The same thing that happened to TOKYOFEVER has just happened to me about a couple of hours ago. The Financial Aid Office sent me an email telling me my myaid was updated. When I checked it the financial aid office is requesting additional documents so they can finalize my financial aid award letter. I can’t believe I’ve been accepted!!!</p>

<p>eclineman, I’m still waiting on my transfer ev, and I’m a Screenwriting major. My classes are posted for Fall '09 only, with no credits or course equivalents, so apparently I’m a “freshman.” (So therefore I can’t officially register.) I’m obviously not with 61 credits, so they have yet to add up my Fall transcript credits. Spring '10 isn’t even listed even though they probably got it last week. :(</p>
<p>TOKYOFEVER — I have been speaking with Admissions & Registrar’s office since my transcripts were sent by email and it seems to cause a slowdown because there’s no hard copy??? But I wanted to see how my total 30 hrs were evaluated and how many credits will be accepted before I send it $400 for housing deposit.

Do you know when I will receive my packet and everything? How long did it take after the myaid change for you? Because mypaw still says under review. When I called the admissions office they said that indicates I’m in, but she didn’t really give any specific details ad to when I will receive my packet, etc.</p>
<p>Don’t worry CrazyKid, I got my acceptance packet in the mail May 8th (letter was dated May 5th, I live in NJ). MyAID changed on May 7th, and MyPAW changed on May 8th as well. MyPAW is the last to go, so you should probably get your letter next week. :)</p>
<p>eclineman, what? That’s so weird. Email, hard copy, it’s the same thing! According to the site, they claimed they would accept up to 60 credits from an accredited institution. So yes…I rushed and sent in my housing deposit. I’m afraid if I didn’t send it in last week, I wouldn’t get housing. Hope that wasn’t a mistake! :(</p>
<p>TokyoFever, ugghh it’s so frustrating! The transcript situation should be the same thing! It finally showed in Prowl once I called them for 2 days. The LMU evaluation equivalent is still not showing, but at least the classes from my othe univ are. I am going to mail my housing deposit next wk, priority mail. Aren’t the McCarthy Rains dorms for sophomore transfers? Is Mc Carthy Rains two separate dorms?</p>

<p>Oh I don’t know about the dorms. I’m hoping for an apartment (Leavey, O’Malley, Hannon or Tenderich) since I’m a Junior. I heard the suite styles are for sophs - and Rains is one of them along with McCarthy & McKay.</p>

<p>^Yay, that’s great news! Nooo, I wish I did now! I deleted my Facebook just this year after finding out about their lack of security, and MySpace after I got a Facebook, haha.</p>
<p>But I guess once we get used to LMU we can pick a place for CC members to meet up. I don’t think we’ll find each other at Orientation, LOL. Also for eclineman, I think we might have to collab in the future for a film!</p>

<p>My daughter applied as a transfer on the 15th of March. MyLMU still shows currently in review. She was asked for updates to My Task on the 20th of May. Everything was completed. Any thoughts on whether the request for additional info indicates the potential of acceptance. Thank You</p>
