Loading Panther Funds?

<p>A few questions for the experienced parents/students here. </p>

<p>1) If I use a credit card to load Panther Funds for D2, does that come through as “cash advance” as far as the credit card is concerned? Or is it just a transaction the same as if I purchased something, like from the bookstore? It looks like the easiest way to load funds is online with a credit card…but I’ll get hit with fees and interest if it’s considered a cash advance.</p>

<p>2) Do the off-campus merchants charge a fee to use Panther Funds?</p>

<li><p>It always looks just like any other charge on my bank record of my debit card use (used as a credit card) but I have not used a real credit card to load funds. </p></li>
<li><p>The merchants don’t charge you BUT panther funds are VERY frequently down and VERY frequently slow. I don’t recommend using them for off campus merchants.</p></li>
