Loans to cover/remove work portion of FA package?

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I receive a pretty generous FA package that meets full need with the exception of 1250 a semester in Academic earning. </p>

<p>Is there any way to request the FA department to remove this part of my aid, leaving me capable of applying for private loans to cover this portion of my FA package? </p>
