I’ve frequently read that if you want to work in the financial sector in LA, then it’s best to do the biz econ program at UCLA. I’m just wondering whether a UCLA biz econ grad can gain employment in Northern California. Having grown up in SF, I would like to return here after undergrad and work, rather than staying down in LA. It’s between UCLA or Cal (Haas undergrad, if I get admitted into that program), and I’m hoping that going to UCLA doesn’t restrict me to jobs there.

Why wouldnt they be able to?

Where you go to school does not necessarily mean you will live there for the rest of your life…especially in LA-who could stand to live there more than four years!

Whats wrong with LA?
