<p>Any clever ideas for dealing with lofted beds? How to get lighting up there, or shelving?</p>

<p>I just ordered one of these shelves for the top bunk. I like the fact that it actually has a “lip” to the shelf so stuff won’t roll off.</p>

<p>^^ We got a similar hook-on shelf for our D for her lofted bed. It was handy for her.</p>

<p>A walk through an Ikea store (if you have one nearby) could produce some good ideas.</p>

<p>I know some lofts have rounded metal bars at the head of the bed, but it might work clipped onto the sides. DS had bunk beds when younger and used one of these to read in bed at night. He clipped it onto the headboard.</p>
