<p>I bet the folks planning orientation never dreamed the would have to send out an email like this:</p>

This email confirms your participation in orientation on July 14-15,
2011. Please note that we are aware that the opening for Harry Potter
and The Deathly Hallows is Friday, July 15 at 12:00AM. Students
attending new student orientation must be in attendance at all times,
and this includes evening, late-night activities, and overnight. Should
you choose to leave campus, you will be removed from the
program without your Fall schedule and asked to attend another
orientation program. If you have already purchased tickets for Harry
Potter, it is our recommendation that you sell the tickets or change
your orientation date.
