Lol no chance

My mom got mail from the multicultural recruitment office from Cornell and now thinks I would be able to apply to every Ivy and prestigious school.

My mother and many of her siblings graduated from UM. I always wished I could go but I know I do not have a chance.

Stats:

3.4 GPA/ 4.1 W
26 ACT (retaking)
SAT (taking in Sept.)
AP: 3 on bio, 3 on APUSH, 3 on Lit
Super involved in the community with great ECs

FL Resident

Is it even worth applying?

Definitely worth applying no matter what because you never know; however, your test scores and GPA are lacking. Work hard and try to get that GPA as close to 3.5 as possible. Likewise, work on that ACT preparation. It’s crazy how much a 1-4 point increase in your ACT score could change the fate of your admissions decisions. You have a lot going for you so if you put in the work, it will pay off. Stay motivated – it’s worth it! Good luck and go blue.
