CTV showed those^^ and other animated Olympic events through the two weeks of broadcast. They were fun! I’m surprised that NBC never picked them up.

Love how on Mustafina’s fall from beam, they showed it again in “slow motion.”

Wow…

How cool is that - winning the gold with your mom?!

I was so happy to hear that on the news. Congrats to her! If its a girl, maybe they’ll name her London.

I heard that earlier this morning. YOu’d think she had a clue becasue her boobs had gotten so big
.

.
not.

JK-- LOL

And she wasn’t even the only pregnant woman competing at the games.

Um why is this news? At 5 weeks the fetus would have been the size of a pomegranate seed, hardly a baby.

I think it took until about 7 weeks for me to have 24/7 “morning” sickness.

Are y’all following the gymnasts? I think it was on the 2nd stop of the Kellogg’s tour that Mikala Maroney fell and broke her tibia, so it’s been the fierce 4 out there (with lot of others, of course.)

Dionysus–I’ve only been pregnant once, but at 5 weeks I was exhausted and had to take naps every day. Got much more energy later.

missypie–where are you seeing the gymnasts? Sorry about the 24/7 morning sickness. I only had about 2 episodes.

I started following a bunch of athletes on Twitter during the Olympics. Once the games were over, I un-followed most of them, but kept following most of the gymnasts. It’s pretty interesting to keep up with the aftermath, in its non-glamour (all night bus rides, promotional appearances at the local AT&T store, etc.)

McKayla M. - no longer on the tour - finally made references to school work. The other three who should be juniors in HS haven’t tweeted about it. That doesn’t mean they aren’t doing any, but it’s interesting to me.

Nevertheless, it can affect your body, your energy levels, your timing, etc.
I wouldn’t have felt like throwing my body to the ground repeatedly to get digs if I were 5 weeks pregnant.
