I got a call at 11:30 at night tonight from the admissions team at CSULB. I was slightly skeptical of the call since its late at night and they were expecting me to answer intricate, descriptive questions(which I did to the best of my ability). Are other people getting these calls to or am I all too special?

I have been through the CSU admission process several times in the past 3 years and have never heard of any CSU calling for an interview. I hope you do not divulge your SSN or any other personal ID information. What major did you apply? Very strange as @Happy2Help stated especially so late at night. I would contact CSULB admissions directly and state your concern.
This sounds really strange. Unfortunately, I can’t imagine any scenario where admissions is calling students so late at night.
Could it be some of your friends messing with you? If not, then perhaps it was a phishing scam or something.
It sounds like some kind of scam, there’s no reason that admissions would be calling at that hour. They typically only call during normal office hours. What kind of information did they ask of you?
