Hello,
I am learning at mathematical school in Georgia (Caucasus).
My average grade is a bit more than 8 out of 10.
can I be accepted with such grades by good college if my sat will be around 2100
and math II and physics over 700?
I’ll be 19 years old next year. Am I too old?

P.S. I need a lot of financial aid. It’s quite hard in my school to get good grades. Any student
with 6 points (in math or physics) can fluently get 10 points in any other school.

thanks

If your school has a good reputation then yes. My school has a good rep and I know kids with B pluses getting into Hopkins, BC, richmond, colgate and others. SAT scores are really good and that makes you stand out. does your school rank its students? not all do and if you are in a small school chances is that they dont so I wouldnt worry about the GPA as much as the SAT. Just as long as its good while you take hard classes! check your Schools past acceptance history with Colleges. and talk to your counselor

my school is considered as one of the best schools in Georgia. Our school’s students have the best results on entrance exams and I am going to be among them. But all this is in
Georgia, not US. Or does it still matter?

As an international needing a lot of financial aid there are no guarantees. Apply to a lot of colleges including a good number where your stats put you at the very top of the applicant pool. Don’t just focus on ivy league and big name schools.

my priority is financial aid. I now have to focus on the SAT and try to do my best. Any other opinions are welcome. thanks
