I talked to a friend who was accepted last year, and he told me that everyone who was accepted had a green sheet in their envelope. So, now you don’t really have to wait to read it. If you don’t have a green sheet in your envelope… It is for people who have been accepted to register. Best of luck everyone, and I hope you all get the green sheet!

PS… maybe they changed the color this year?

Hey Everyone! I’m not sure if you want to read this, but this is the text of the letter I got last year (RD) from Georgetown:

Dear Mr. Lukaszewicz:

It gives me great pleasure to inform you that the Committee on Admissions have voted to accept your application to Georgetown University. I am happy to offer you a place in the first-year class for the fall of 2004.

This year, Georgetown’s Admissions Committees considered more than 14,00 candidates for only 1500 availble spaces. You are to be congratulated for your acceptance in this very difficult competition. I have nclosed information explaining details of your admission and enrollment. During the next few weeks, you will hear from other members of the University community offering their congratulations and providing you with additional information. When you have reached your decision to attend Georgetown, please complete and return the enclosed Enrollment Agreement together with the required $850 deposit. The deposit must be received by May 1st to confirm your place in class.

I am pleased to speak for the entire Georgetown community in extending to you this offer of admission. I look forward to welcoming you to the University as a member of the class of 2008.

Sincerely,
Charles A. Deacon
Dean of Undergraduate Admissions

Since this letter is RD, and from las year, I expect you to be receiving a whole different text for EA. But, this is what you have to look forward to, either if you are accepted or deferred and later accepted. The package also came with the green from entitled "Information for Accepted First Year Students.

Either way, I truly hope that all of you get in. Best of luck to everyone! And the good news is, NO ONE can be rejected outright! So keep your hopes up!!!
