looking for a college for my son

<p>We live in the Cal State Long Beach area and my son has a 3.3 GPA, 1930 SAT score and hasn’t taken the ACT yet. I’m hearing that Cal State Long Beach may be tough to get into due to California budget problems. </p>

<p>I am looking for other suggestions on schools that may be a possibility. Preferably in a urban or suburban area. Hopefully a WUE school, perhaps in Colorado, Montana, or Oregon. My son does not want to move to AZ. Any suggestions? Money is tight so no more that 25K per year.</p>
