<p>I’m currently a junior in high school, and in a program that allows me simultaneously to be a freshman in college for all intents and purposes. I’ve completed 15 credit hours so far, and working on 18 more this semester. By the time I graduate high school, I will have around 70 credit hours. I’m not new to living on a college campus and taking classes, etc. However, I am new to the application process, and I’m looking for a different college to move to once I’ve gotten my high school diploma (and simultaneously, my Associate of Science degree).</p>
<p>My cumulative GPA, as it stands, is around a 3.6, and I have a decent ACT score (32 is my highest composite score, and when taken with writing, I got a 29).</p>
<p>My current interest is mathematics- I will have taken up to Calculus II, along with Differential Equations and possibly Multivariate Calculus by the time I graduate. I hope to eventually get a PHD in mathematics of some sort and become a university professor.</p>
<p>I’m really only interested in pure mathematics, for the most part, not necessarily applying it. I want a school with good, rigorous math classes, and one where my degree will be taken seriously when looking for a teaching job later. Given this, and my goal of becoming a professor, could I get a few suggestions as to where I ought to look into?</p>
