Looking for a program that offers high school credit.

Any summer program that offers high school credit, and provide a dorm for students? (start after June)

A lot of the prep schools do. For example one of the sophomores in my school went to Exeter last summer and I’m pretty sure Andover have summer programs too.

I believe Cal does through ATDP-(Academically Talent Development Program for Gate identified students). I am not sure if the other UC’s offer the same program.

CTD at northwestern does – you have to understand that although a program can offer a high school course that carries credit, that credit has to be accepted by your current high school and they can choose what they want to do.

You can always do high school classes by independent study at Indiana University, summer or not. If there is just a course or credit you need. No dorm though!

Or if you want high school language credit, Concordia Language Villages offer a lot of one-month immersion sessions that offer one year of high school credit, and you are staying at a nice camp with dorm-like cabins. Because of the dorm/cabin logistics, they limit the number of “boys” and “girls” per session.

All of the Spanish high school credit programs are open for boys; the one 7/23/2007 - 8/18/2007 is still open for boys and girls: http://clvweb.cord.edu/prweb/schedule/default.asp?l=Spanish

A lot of openings for girls for German: http://clvweb.cord.edu/prweb/schedule/default.asp?l=German

French is open for boys and girls for several sessions; Chinese 7/16/2007 - 8/11/2007 is still open for girls and boys; Arabic 7/2 to 7/28 still open for boys and girls. I didn’t check the Scandinavian languages - check the Concordia site - there are probably more available.
