looking for advice...decision theory

I want to pursue graduate studies in decision theory/behavioural economics, and I have 2 years left at university (McGill U, for what it’s worth). What courses should I take? I’m getting feedback that economics may actually NOT be the best undergrad degree for this purpose. Should I focus more on math w/a stats core?

What schools are best for decision theory, and what kind of stats will I need?

I don’t really have much experience in this area, but I have a friend who decided to go to Duke for decision sciences, apparently they are pretty well regarded in the field.

http://faculty.fuqua.duke.edu/decision_sciences/dsphd/programs.htm

Here’s the site for Duke, I’m not sure if this is helpful or not.

maybe the school where daniel kanhnauman (spelling…) teaches?

Kahnaman is at Princeton, I believe.

tnaks a lot.

The pedigree is less important. I’m looking for a really specific field of study, so the proffesor is the critical variable here.

How competitive would admissions be? I can’t imagine too many applying, so I assume it would be rather self-selective.
