<p>I apologize for the length of this and I will try to keep it short. I was recently accepted into the honors program at my CC. In order to graduate within the program I need to have 18 honor credits. I only have two semesters left until I graduate, the fall and spring. This summer I am enrolled in speech which is also offered as an honors class in the fall. Since I have to take three honor classes for the next two semesters and I don’t have that many “gen” “ed” courses left to take speech would be good for me to take in the fall. I would however; have to drop my summer speech which would give me a “W” on my transcript. I already have a “grade forgiveness” (I received an F retook the class and got an A). Will that combined with the “W” look bad? I’m looking to transfer for the fall of 2007 and the schools I’m looking at are UNC-CH, U of Florida, U of Arizona, and NC State… not sure where else. I have about a 3.8 and I’m at a CC. So what are your thoughts? Does it look bad? Is it worth the “W” to take the honors course? Thanks so much in advance.</p>
