I’m looking for a college for a B student, wants to major in chemical engineering, reason has a B average is because of non science related topics but is very good at science, got a 720 on chem sat

Try USN&WR’s “A+ options for B students”

Ploof

You may want to check out the 3.0 - 3.3 GPA student thread on the Parents Forum. Lots of good information.

If you would give other info, you would get additional input. What is gpa, rank, sat. etc? You have probably read these threads. You know the grill!!

Try techie schools, they’re more receptive to lopsided math&science students. If you give some more information, we can actually suggest some specific schools.

What’s your rank? Actual GPA? Course rigor? SAT/SAT II/ ACT scores? ECs? Where do you live? How competitive is your high school? What grade are you in? Do you need FA?
You need to provide a lot more information for us to make any useful suggestions.

The first two schools that come to mind for you:
Missouri University of Science and Technology
[Missouri University of Science and Technology](http://www.mst.edu/)
Michigan Tech
[Michigan Technological University](http://www.mtu.edu/)
