I am looking for a good/decent CS PhD program which has a deadline after January 10, 2017. Would any of you be able to suggest some?
Generally speaking, you shouldn’t be picking PhD programs because of their deadline date. I am assuming a lot, but my assumption is that you decided kind of late in the game that you wanted to go to a CS PhD program starting fall 2017 and are trying to scramble to apply to programs that don’t have deadlines yet.
But a PhD program is a pretty serious choice to make - since where you go will affect your quality of life for the next 5-6 years as well as where you get a job afterwards. So perhaps you should wait to apply in fall 2017 for a fall 2018 start.
