Looking for electronics simulation program

My S took fast-paced HS physics through CTY this summer, and they used a program that allowed them to do virtual electronics experiments. My S thinks that the program was something that Franklin and Marshall has, and it may have been part of a larger physics simulation software package. He wants to find something to use at home, but all the freeware packages he’s found on the web are are written for old operating systems. I’m willing to pay for something if it’s good, and not horrendously expensive. Does anyone know of something?

SPICE is pretty common.

Thanks, newmassdad. I’ll have him check into it tonight.

Try PSPICE. It’s designed to run on PCs and is used by many colleges -

I remember using SPICE over 30 years ago but that was on a mainframe and before PCs were invented.
