I’m currently working on my education degree at DePaul University and have a little under a year before I student teach. Before I search for a teaching job, however, I want to travel to South America, both to teach English and advance my fluency in Spanish. Since I’m already willing to take those steps, I figured I might as well get an endorsement in Spanish. So, my questions are:
- What are some schools with strong Spanish (the less expensive the better)?
- How difficult would it be to use potential credits from schools I attend in Ecuador in lieu of taking classes in the university
- Would it simply be easier to travel first or to go through a study abroad program? The only things I can see being comprimised are my ability to travel and the length of my stay.
