Anyone know of any schools with film programs that have “study away” (domestic) arrangements with other film schools?
For example:
Oberlin has a “consortial agreement” with Prague Film School and NYU Tisch that allow Oberlin film studies majors to take a semester (or year) at either institution with credit toward their Oberlin degree.
This is an alternative for those who didn’t get into Tisch - attend Oberlin (excellent LAC & conservatory) AND get a year at Tisch for film production. And if you’re wondering, Oberlin hasn’t had any students denied acceptance who applied to either program.
So, does anyone know of other arrangements that would allow a sem/year at another film school?
