Looking for info on St. Mary's in Indiana

Daughter looking for a possible pre-med major and is interested in attending med school post graduate. St. Mary’s in Indiana caught her eye but other than the school’s website, we can’t find much info on student’s experience or advice. Anyone have any?? We are aware it’s all female but also know Notre Dame is right there. Thanks!

@TiptopPop I don’t have alot to add that will be truly helpful but, an acquaintance who I see a couple times a year while volunteering has a daughter that just graduated from there, she has nothing but glowing reviews. Her daughter was a Chemistry major had good things to say about the classes and professors. Her daughter had a job lined up before she graduated. I do know she did do a couple EC at ND. That being said the school is small, campus is beautiful, dorms are old. My D26’s best friend had this as one her schools she had planned on possibly attending but after touring the school it came off of her list - Too small was not comfortable with the dorms. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful we are at ND a lot for sports but I have only driven by ST Mary’s!!

I had quite a few friends way back when who grew up in Notre Dame families. For them, that meant the sons went to ND and the daughters went to St. Mary’s. You might want to ask this question on the ND platform as well. These schools are somewhat intertwined (but I am not at all current on the realities of that today.)

This was my family, I have two aunts who went to St Marys and my Dad and his three brothers all went to ND. My info is so out of date though, I can’t be much help.

My d22 has a close friend there who absolutely loves it. The friend has a fantastic friend group, classes she loves, close relationships with professors, and is overall incredibly happy.

Thanks for the responses! We plan on touring in a few weeks so will get to see it first hand but was curious on experiences. I was wondering how much cross over they had with ND. Knowing a big co-ed rah rah school is also right there is a big plus - smaller class sizes, more intimate camps but accessibility to bigger school sports for that rah rah feel (even though not part of the school).

Year after year, it’s a very popular choice amongst our HS grads. I haven’t talked with anyone who goes there, but I assume they like it since so many of them (who know each other and thus talk about it) choose it each year.
