Looking for interesting sports rituals

Hi! I’m writing a magazine article for college athletes about fun/cool/quirky rituals that other athletes do. They can be individual rituals or team, and they can be for superstition, for tradition, to have fun, to focus, to loosen up - anything, but the most unusual and unique, the better. These are team- and player-centric, not fan-centric. Not things the fans do. Stuff a team or player does off the field, at practice, in the locker room, etc. Any leads are appreciated. Thanks!

Check out Sierra Schmidt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tX4SGtojPt8 She does whole dance routines behind the swim blocks. She has Asperger’s Syndrome and uses the dancing to focus before the race. It’s awesome. https://swimswam.com/swimmommonday-a-conversation-with-sierra-schmidts-mom-and-dad/ Not quite college age, but she’s one of the top 5 high school recruits in the country now at the end of her junior year of HS.
