Looking for matches, help please

I’ll be applying to colleges this fall but I’m not totally confident in my list yet. Could someone recommend some matches for me? I’m looking for a left-leaning campus, with fun activities and campus life, study abroad opportunities, and good academics. Cost is not an issue.

I’m not totally sure what I want to study. Right now I’m thinking economics or finance but I’ve also considered becoming writer, composer, lawyer, or even a college professor. I’m a pretty well rounded student but I’d say my best subject and the one I’m most engaged in is history.

4.04 wgpa 3.62 gpa 29 act 1950 sat (will probably retest for both and take some subject test)
AP test: World History (4), English Language and Composition (3), Human Geography (5), Music Theory (3), Psychology (3), U.S. History (5) I’m taking 5 AP classes this year
4 yrs of orchestra (violin), chairman of my high schools battle of the bands (benefits orchestra)
NHS member
Student Ambassador to Taiwan
Soon to be an Eagle Scout
Founding member and president of my schools young democrats club
I’m interning at law firm right now
state geography bee qualifier
I attend one of the best public schools in texas and probably the nation
I’m also a hispanic male

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Since cost is not an issue, try the UC’s. Great party life, academics are particularly high at ucla and berkeley, ucsd is good too

I’m considering UCSB so I might just apply to them all since it’s all on one application. I am a UCLA fan and I’d probably love Berkeley. Though cost isn’t an issue, I do kind of think the UC’s are a little overly priced and I’ve also hear that most people can’t graduate from UCLA in 4 years.

Those are the kids who party all day and dont balance their studies. No matter which college u go to, it is up to u to determine whether u graduate or not. Id say u cant go wrong with any of the UC’s.

You could run the College Supermatch engine available on the CC main site. You haven’t really narrowed anything down for posters. All we know is you want to have fun while studying in college.

Oberlin (Ohio), Lewis & Clark (Portland, OR) come to mind.
