I’m looking for a good school with a good athletic program, science program and a large student body, any options.

Try a community college.

If you have a high B average with all AP’s and a 2400 at a very competitie high school, you should try Yale.

OK? I guess

OP can you be a little more specific? Grades, EC’s and such?

look on my post, “Chance me and I’ll give you an imaginary high five” under chances.

Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Iowa, Nebraska, Oregon, Auburn.

Sounds like your public universities would fit the bill.

read the article at [America’s Best Colleges 2008: A+ Options for B Students – U.S.News & World Report](http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/college/articles/brief/cbaplus_brief.php)

Also while from reading the papers or this forum you’d think getting into college is incredibly difficult these days, in fact outside of the most demanded 100 or so colleges the rest accept the majority of their applicants!! With some legwork you’ll have plenty of good options to choose from. You’re not going to get a lot of helpful advice on this forum since the top 100 is exactly what most people here are aiming for (actually top 10 in many cases).

Also I suggesting reading the book excerpt at http://media.wiley.com/product_data/excerpt/78/07879796/0787979678.pdf In fact reading the book will help you understand the admissions process and how to select a basket of colleges that are right for you.

UW Madison sounds like a great fit…but don’t think about taking my spot! lol

Also, go to collegeboard.com and take the college matchmaker quiz. You can input as much or as little criteria for colleges as you want and it will spit a list right back at ya…
