What do you know about Ascent?
Not much – I briefly talked with a teacher who has taught there, as well as one student. It’s relatively new (third year?) and considered an up-and-coming program overall. He said the level right now is pretty wide. The faculty looks outstanding!

We are also wowed by faculty.
My DD did Ascent Cello Festival last year and absolutely loved it. She’d be back if the timing worked out, but it’s earlier this year – and starts before her school year ends. Didn’t do Chamber, but based on the Cello program, faculty, etc., I would expect a top-notch, supportive, productive program.

May I ask how it works? It’s only a week long. Do they have private lesson every day? Do they alternate faculty? Or do they get assigned to one teacher? My son was accepted and we plan on sending him. Just can’t wrap my head how one week program works.
