Looking for strong computer science & D3 baseball

We are looking for a strong computer science program at a school that also offers a good D3 baseball team. Schools on the current list include: MIT, Washington U, Rose Hulman, Denison, Case Western, & U of Chicago. Has anyone been down this particular road? If so, do you have suggestions for schools we should be looking at?

Some schools suggested on this thread have strong D3 baseball programs:

Tufts is strong in baseball and has a top Computer Science program.

Last year, they were eliminated in the NCAA regional finals by the eventual 2nd place team.

Great location for internships/hackathons/startups.

Easy suggestion: Trinity University in San Antonio just won the D3 World Series, and had a couple players taken in the MLB draft in the later rounds. They have a great baseball program.

In addition, they are Tier I in Computer Science, have a brand new $231M Integrated Science Building which houses the CS Department, and they have the 25th highest per capita endowment of any school in the country. That means very generous merit and financial aid.

My S is starting his sophomore year at TU and loves the CS Department, spending the summer doing paid cancer research utilizing his CS.

Good luck!

Perhaps Johns Hopkins? A notch less selective – Union College (NY)

Don’t know how good the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps baseball team is, but it is DIII (SCIAC conference), and Harvey Mudd has a strong CS program.
