I was recently referred here for help with an admissions essay, as I’ve seemed to find myself needing some suggestions. The prompt, although probably a common one, is legitimately throwing me through a loop. Here’s what they’re looking for:

"Please indicate any other information about yourself that you feel would help the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in making an admission decision. This may include any aspects outside your academic record that will enhance your admissibility or, might hurt your eligibility for admission (e.g. poor grades in required courses for major, withdrawals, low GPA). "

Now I realize how silly it is to ask for help in writing about my own personal accolades, but I really have hit a slump with this topic. I don’t feel as if I’ve done anything outside the typical gamut that the admissions committee toils through every day. Additionally, the worry of coming off as pretentious is also a concern of mine.

I’ve looked through the stickys as well as a good deal of threads here, but am still kind of left wondering what a successful response to this prompt would contain. Any suggestions or advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
