Looking for: travel water bottle, non-BPA, with filter?

I am looking for a water bottle for H to use when he travels. He is on a non-BPA crusade now so buying bottled water, say at the airport, does not make him happy. I have found lots of non-BPA water bottles but I would ideally like to find one that has a flter.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

No filter, but I just bought bought a Vapur “the anti bottle”. 0.5 liters, BPA free, freezable, made in usa, stands when full, folds when empty. Comes with a small caribiner clip. Looks ideal for travel, which is what motivated me.

What do you mean by a filter? Do you mean something like a Brita? A small Brita bottle would be an interesting product.

I use a 20 oz glass bottle - I bought a drink at the supermarket for a buck that was in a glass bottle. The actual drink was terrible but I use the bottle for water. I have a bunch of these bottles that we fill with filtered water and leave in the refrigerator for chilled drinks.

Whole Foods has a glass bottle in a silicone-plastic mesh for $20 or $30 with a carrying cap. Would that work?

Because the water bottle would be used for travel I thought it would be nice if it has a filter. There are a few on Amazon but none that have outstanding reviews. I am leaning towards this one:

I really like this one. Filtered water, non-BPA and sold at Whole Foods among other places.

Looks like a pretty cool product but their webpage could really benefit from a video showing how it is used or maybe at least a few pictures. I generally have filtered water available at home and office so it’s not a problem for me. I have to go fill my glass bottle now for the afternoon workout.

Depending on your travel needs- are you removing chlorine or bugs?

BCEagle, There are a number of videos related to this product on Youtube if you are interested. I like it because it’s the only one I’ve found where you don’t have to drink through a straw or a mouthpiece. It’s certified to the same level of filtration as a Brita and works almost instantly.
