Looking for $$$!

While applying to many top universities, I am also looking for a good safety school that will hopefully offer me a lot of money to admit. I am a white boy (will be a senior this year) and I attend a NE boarding school that does not release class rank. I plan to be pre-med, and I was wondering if Elon University in NC would be a good backup for me. Does anybody know anything about their FA?

Stats:
GPA: 10/11 (probably top 20%, but it’s not released)
ACT: 33 (math 33, reading 35, english 35, science 30)
ECs: Varsity football 3 years, JV football 1 year
Photographer for school paper (3yrs)
Guitar (bands and lessons throughout HS)
Awards: 2nd year German award. Been on Highest Honors all of sophmore and junior year. Possible cum laude

Work/Internships: Worked for US Fish and Wildlife last summer. This summer, I had an internship in Ethiopia with Save the Children.

You’ll be just fine for Elon.

While your school may not give rank, they give grade distribution so colleges know where you rank. Without knowing if you’re seeking need based or merit aid, it’s harrd to help.

sorry––should have specified. I am looking for merit aid

Are you at a top, Andover level, school?

Since a safety school needs to be affordable, unless you know that you can afford to go to Elon, it’s not a safety.

A safety is a school that you KNOW FOR SURE that you can afford because its costs will be covered with assured gov’t grants, assured merit scholarships, small federal loans, and/or family money.

How much will your parents spend each year?
