Looking into USC, Cornell, Columbia and Brown

Hey, im currently a junior in high school.

I am spending this entire year studying in norther Thailand, and I’m getting ready to apply for college next year.

I have a 3.93 GPA currently, and i plan to get a 4.0 my senior year. I haven’t done any AP or IB classes because my small school in america doesn’t offer any.

I will take the SAT and ACT when i get back to America in June.

On the Pre ACT i scored 32

I’ve spent a lot of time here in Chiang Mai, Thailand volunteering at a shelter that removes sex slaves from the street, about 3 weeks volunteering at an orphanage, and about 15 hours of caring for malnourished dogs that live at the temples.

I haven’t done any high school sports.

I know Columbia will be a reach, but my current favorite is USC, and I’d be very interested in all four. I will apply to the University of Colorado - Boulder as a safety.

If there’s anything i forgot or anything else you’d like to know just ask.

Thanks in advance for all and any help!

Colorado is a safe, but without test scores you really never know. An essay about ur time in Thailand though could push you over any edge grades and test scores dont. Ivys are very difficult, but i think youll get into USC

Thanks for your reply.

Yea i think the Ivy League may be a stretch, but I’m hopeful that my essay and test scores will get me into USC, as that’s my current favorite.

I wish I could help chance you, but I’m afraid i really know nothing about the schools of your choice :/
