State: Michigan
High School: ACT: 34 SAT:1500 GPA: 3.5
EC: above average, but normal stuff, sports, volunteering, summer business program, newspaper clubs, leadership
List:
Umich(instate)( applied in high school, deferred-waitlist-rejected)

Looking to switch to CS or Econ, fine with doing an extra semester or year, thinking about investment banking but I know that will be a stretch.

Want to apply to one or two more schools to have some good options

Why don’t you just switch to Econ or CS where you are?

How come you decided to stay another year at Miami? Did you end up applying anywhere last year as a transfer?

For UMich I expect your chances are greater to transfer into econ than CS. I am not sure that Mich LSA econ majors have access to IB interviews at Ross, so check into that.

For Econ, you could transfer just about anywhere…what are you looking for in a school? Size? Geography? What about U Richmond, Wake Forest, Villanova, BC, IU, Colgate?

For CS maybe…Michigan State, Case Western, Pitt

Communicating more parameters will help posters make better recs.

Do you need financial aid?
