Looking to get a 35 on ACT?

Well the first time i took the ACT i got a 28 composite
E: 26
M:30
R:31
S:24

Next time i got a 34 composite
E: 32
M:36
R:36
S:33

Do you think that i could get a 35 if i took it again or even a 36 if i studyed more?

Just stop. You got a 34, move on with your life. Stop spending so much time with a test that you practically got a perfect score on, a few questions shouldn’t force you to strive for perfection, when your score is perfectly fine (actually very above average).

Why does CC bash kids with scores below a 35 or 36. Clearly we are all intelligent people, don’t let a test determine that for you.

On english you missed about 3-5 questions out of 75 and on science you missed 2-3

Does it really matter? Like analogous said, a 34 is GREAT, now would it be worth it to study a few more weeks to get about 6 more questions right? It’d be better if you spent that time on your grades, your extracurriculars/sports, or doing something that would help much more than getting 1 or 2 more points

If it matters that much to you, why not lol.

Don’t sweat it… One point does not worth it.
34 is great!

While I do think taking the ACT again after scoring a 34 is unnecessary, I’ll answer your question- yes, it is possible for you to go up and extra point or so. The english section is actually pretty simple and mastering a few grammar rules and having a clear head on analytical questions can give you a 36…on the science part, it’s probably up to luck.

Two words: Star Student.

I think it might be worth one more shot. If you don’t improve after that, don’t worry about it.

just let it go, you obviously can get a 35 or 36 so there is no point. I highly doubt a college will reject you because of your 34 ACT. Like the others said just concentrate on more important things like your grades and etc. Best of luck.

if you have the time, go for it, b/c a 35/35 is good.
if you don’t, then dont sweat it, b/c a 34.
easycake.
