Loomis Chaffee Hockey

does anyone know if you get to pick ur own hockey numbers for Loomis hockey team?

If you are the best player on the team you get to wear #1, unless you are a goalie of course. After that, you get to wear #2. If you are the 2nd best player, you get to wear #3. And so on. Most schools do it this way. If you are new to the school, they are happy to give you any # you want, even if the two year captain has worn it for four years years.

Depends …the varsity coaches at both Andover and choate said that their jersey numbers don’t go that high, but that they could order a specific number when they get a new batch of jerseys, I’m sure it’s the same at most schools.

Ok that’s great thanks

What about if your a goalie and you want a player number?

Looking at the numbers on the roster-- fun is fun’s method-- is not used at LC.
I’d assume it’s probably the same as most sports- captains get first choice, then seniors, juniors, sophomores, and then freshman.
can’t comment on the goalie thing-- the goalie wore 35… that’s quite larger than the rest of the numbers (the largest number for a player was 23) so i’d assume that’s
are numbers that big of a deal? hahaha. i’m sure you can get whatever number you want. (unless it’s a different jersey than the rest of the players?)

Good choice on choosing LC! btw haha

don’t know about hockey but most of the numbers @ LC are actually based on jersey size–the largest the shirt, the higher the number
