My DC is an incoming sophomore and was assigned a single despite asking for a double. Is this normal? I would think that it would be harder to get a single. The email says that housing is at capacity and no changes will be possible. I’m a little concerned that the combination of being an incoming sophomore plus being in a single will make it very difficult to integrate and would appreciate any thoughts. Also the dorm is an “upperclassman” dorm - doesn’t that mean it is for juniors and seniors or does that term include sophomores ?
