Ok, so I do not know what to do because this last quarter I totally failed all my classes. This quarter was my third one and the other two quarters I received a GPA of 3.7 and 3.6. This quarter got a little harder and I became discouraged and thought about dropping out. After talking about it with a trusted friend I decided to just change my program of study. However, it is already the end of the quarter and I am failing miserably. What can I do so that I do not loose my financial aid?? I attend a community college in Washington state.
You need to find out what the Satisfactory Academic Progress guidelines are for your community college. So…start there. If you have not met SAP, you need to find out what you need to do to reconcile this.
Only YOUR college can answer this. So…ask.
Please schedule an appointment with an academic advisor as soon as possible. They can help you figure out how to navigate this situation, and they can help you plan out your course of study. They can also provide resources (like tutoring) to help you be successful.
I would schedule meetings quickly with both your academic advisor and the Office of Financial Aid. I’d also try to meet with your professors during office hours and see if any classes can be salvaged.
